The Eskenazi Health Total Joint Replacement Program offers joint replacement surgery to those suffering from moderate to severe osteoarthritis or chronic joint pain in the hips, knees and shoulders. Staff members provide coordinated care from your first consultation through your surgical recovery and rehabilitation. The care team is a dedicated group made up of physicians from the Indiana University School of Medicine faculty, experienced nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers, physical and occupational therapists, and more.
Patients must be referred to the program by a primary care provider or specialist and meet predetermined criteria in order to be eligible for joint replacement surgery. Your primary care provider will discuss available plans of care and work with you to determine if surgery is your best option.
