Prospective candidates invited to attend Oct. 11 Nursing Recruitment Fair Indianapolis, Sept. 20, 2017 – Eskenazi Health will host a Nursing Recruitment Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 11, from 3 to 6 p.m. The fair is targeting new or soon-to-be nursing graduates in all areas of the system, but all are welcome to attend. Eskenazi Health is looking to fill nursing positions in a variety of departments due to increasing patient volumes. Candidates are encouraged to apply online prior to the event, and free parking will be available in the Eskenazi Health Parking Garage at 720 Eskenazi Ave.

On Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., the Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper, in partnership with Eskenazi Health, will host the Community Health and Wellness Fair. This event will be held at Ivy Tech Community College in the IFC (Indy Fall Creek) building, located on 50 W. Fall Creek Parkway North.

Legendary American soprano opera singer Renée Fleming will speak about the importance of music through the ages and how it affects us on Friday, September 22, at the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital. The program is being presented by Eskenazi Health and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.

​Free concert will showcase classic Latin jazz selections Indianapolis, Sept. 8, 2017 – Recognized and appreciated for their high-energy and challenging music, jazz trio Pavel Polanco-Safadit & Direct Contact will perform a free concert at the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital on Thursday, Sept. 14. In partnership with the 2017 Indy Jazz Fest (Sept. 14-23), the concert will begin at 12 p.m. (noon) in the Eli Lilly and Company Foundation Concourse where everyone will have the opportunity to celebrate the trio’s Latin jazz music. The concert will offer a preview of the group’s upcoming “Colombia” concert at the Indianapolis Central Library on Sunday, Sept. 17.

As the days gradually grow shorter and the temperatures become a little cooler, millions throughout the nation dread the unpleasantness of suffering through their annual battle with fall allergies.
