Eskenazi Health Center is pleased to announce the launch of a mobile health unit that will be available in the parking lot at John J. Barton Annex apartments to provide primary care services to existing patients and downtown area residents.

In collaboration with the Indianapolis Housing Agency, Indianapolis EMS (IEMS) and the Marion County Public Health Department, the mobile unit went live on Tuesday, Oct. 21 and will be open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Walk-ins are welcome. 

The mobile unit will include the following services:

• Blood sugar checks
• Blood pressure screenings
• HIV testing
• Pregnancy testing
• Connection with health services available at other Eskenazi Health Center locations 

Earlier this month, Eskenazi Health Center closed their health center location within the John J. Barton Annex apartment complex. Current Eskenazi Health Center patients can be seen in person at the nearby Eskenazi Health Center Pedigo location, 1112 Southeastern Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46202, or any other Eskenazi Health Center location.
