Eskenazi Health to Host Nurse Networking Career Event

Nurses encouraged to attend Oct. 9 event to learn more about Eskenazi Health

Oct.  7, 2019 – Eskenazi Health will host a Nurse Networking Career Event on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 3-6 p.m. Nurses with experience in primary and specialty care, Cath lab/interventional radiology, transition support, per diem/central staffing, emergency department, neonatal intensive care unit, burn, transition support, perioperative services, critical care and acuity adaptable will learn of current opportunities. Bilingual nurses are needed as well.

The event is open to all registered nurses (RN) and new RN graduates and will include two sessions. The first session starts at 3 p.m. and the second session starts at 4:30 p.m. Nursing candidates only need to attend one of the sessions.

Attendees may enjoy refreshments and enter a drawing for prizes. Opening remarks will be delivered by Lee Ann Blue, MSN, RN, executive vice president for patient care services and chief nursing officer at Eskenazi Health, at the start of each session. This will be followed by the opportunity to engage with nursing leaders from our organization.

Nurses are encouraged to come and learn about employment with Eskenazi Health and tour the downtown campus. The event will be held in the Rapp Family Conference Center, located on the first floor of the Eskenazi Health Outpatient Care Center. Free parking will be available in the Eskenazi Health Parking Garage.

Everyone will have the opportunity to meet staff nurses from various Eskenazi Health departments and all attendees will be encouraged to mingle and network with others on hand for the event.

Eskenazi Health has nurses who staff various departments within the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital, 10 community health centers and the Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center locations.
