Eskenazi Health has been recognized with the 2026 Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health certification by Mental Health America (MHA) at the Platinum level, the highest level of certification given. This is the second time Eskenazi Health has been honored with this distinction. MHA, the founder of Mental Health Awareness Month, is the nation’s leading nonprofit promoting mental health, well-being and illness prevention. The organization provides support for individuals living with mental health conditions through community education, screening and research, and advocacy and public policy.
The Beal Seal certification, established in 2019 to recognize organizations for developing supportive workplace environments, is given across 21 industries. Organizations at the Platinum certification level, according to MHA, show “exceptional dedication to fostering a supportive workplace culture and aligning with leading industry best practices.
Eskenazi Health was assessed according to comprehensive criteria in four categories. The organization scored even higher than last year in two categories, rating from 92 to 100% across the following:
- Workplace Culture – improved score by 4% from 2025
- Benefits that Support Mental Health – improved score by 12% from 2025
- Caring Beyond Compliance
- Holistic Wellness at Work
