Eskenazi Health is celebrating Make Music Day, inviting musicians of all ages and skill levels to share their love of music with communities around the world through free music performances and events on June 21.
This is the third year Make Music Day will be recognized in Indianapolis as a city-wide event. Eskenazi Health is excited to once again spearhead Make Music Indy on Saturday, June 21, in collaboration with new and existing partners and supporters of the Marianne Tobias Music Program at Eskenazi Health.
“The Marianne Tobias Music Program is more than honored to celebrate and participate in Make Music Day for the third year,” said Allegra Hein, arts in health strategist at Eskenazi Health. “Make Music Day first started in France more than 40 years ago, and for us we take great pride as we not only get to make music, but allow the chance for our patients and community to participate and express themselves through music and dance.”
Free concerts will be held throughout the city, and a participatory experience featuring Kids Dance Outreach will take place at the Eskenazi Health Thomas & Arlene Grande Campus from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on June 21. A full listing of concerts happening throughout Indianapolis can be found here.
