Eskenazi Health Honored as a Top Place to Work by Becker’s Hospital Review

Eskenazi Health has been named as one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s “150 Top Places to Work in Health Care.” This is the fifth time Eskenazi Health has received this prestigious recognition.

Other honored hospitals and health systems include the Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins Medicine and the Mayo Clinic. Eskenazi Health was one of two Indiana health systems and the only Indianapolis hospital and health system recognized. The full list can be viewed here.

Becker’s Hospital Review’s list, which is determined by both nominations and editorial research, awards organizations that offer “robust benefits packages, professional and personal development opportunities, diverse work environments and the resources necessary for work-life balance.” Eskenazi Health was featured for providing employees with a competitivebenefits package and “the tools, programs and resources needed to live a healthy and active lifestyle.” The organization was cited for its commitment to the physical and mental wellness of and educationalopportunities for its staff.

Becker’s Hospital Review also observed that Eskenazi Health’s “award-winning internal and external diversity efforts demonstrate their commitment to advocate for all voices” and that employees “contribute to decision-making through regular management check-ins and team inclusion in interviews.” Becker’s Hospital Review also noted the organization’s consecutive placement in Forbes Magazine’s list of “America’s Best Employers by State,” based on anonymous employee surveys and concluded that Eskenazi Health’s “high employee retention rate is a testament to the success of the health system’s values and policies.”
