    Oct. 23, 2019 – On Oct. 22, Indiana Executive Director for Drug Prevention, Treatment and Enforcement Jim McClelland announced that three regional partnerships have been awarded funds to establish recovery networks and seek designation as comprehensive addiction recovery networks. The regional partnerships, which span the entire state of Indiana, include Regional Health Systems in Merrillville, IN, Eskenazi Health and Community Mental Health Center in Lawrenceburg, IN.

  • Eskenazi Health Center Cottage Corner Health Fair Offers Free Health Screenings

    Oct. 16, 2019 – The 24th annual Eskenazi Health Center Cottage Corner Health Fair will take place on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 1434 Shelby St. in Indianapolis. Eskenazi Health Center Cottage Corner is partnering with the Indianapolis Fraternal Order of Police and additional community organizations in providing no cost health screenings including blood pressure and dental screenings, as well as a limited number of flu vaccines for those 9 years of age and older. Macha Family Eye Care will also provide free glaucoma eye screenings.

    Oct. 8, 2019 – Eskenazi Health Center Grassy Creek will host an Eskenazi Health Center Community Day Health Fair on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., where free health screenings and a limited number of flu shots will be available. Health screenings provided during the health fair at 9443 E. 38th Street will include blood pressure, body mass index, oral health and more.   • Eskenazi Health to Host Nurse Networking Career Event

    Oct. 7, 2019 – Eskenazi Health will host a Nurse Networking Career Event on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 3-6 p.m. Nurses with experience in primary and specialty care, Cath lab/interventional radiology, transition support, per diem/central staffing, emergency department, neonatal intensive care unit, burn, transition support, perioperative services, critical care and acuity adaptable will learn of current opportunities. Bilingual nurses are needed as well. The event is open to all registered nurses (RN) and new RN graduates and will include two sessions. The first session starts at 3 p.m. and the second session starts at 4:30 p.m. Nursing candidates only need to attend one of the sessions.
