Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center invites mental health professionals to attend the next virtual educational speaker series on Thursday, Aug. 13, from 4 – 5 p.m. and will feature Britt Gray, LCSW, licensed clinician, and Brian Smith, LCSW, clinical supervisor, with Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center Adult Outpatient Program, presenting, “Navigating Mental Health in the Criminal Justice System.”

 

This discussion will open a broader discussion to address the challenges and barriers to working with clients that are justice involved. Participants will learn how to help clients navigate their autonomy within the justice system and how it relates to voluntary vs. mandatory engagement.

Please note, if you have attended a Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center Speaker Series event in the past, you do not need to re-register. You will receive an invite to the upcoming session.

 

Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center’s monthly speaker series is free to attend. Eligible participants (LMHC, LMFT and LCSW) have the opportunity to earn CEUs by attending the presentation.
