To celebrate Nurses’ Week, the Marianne Tobias Music Program will feature Middle Eastern music ensemble Salaam on Wednesday, May 6, at 12 p.m. in the Eli Lilly and Company Foundation Concourse.

Salaam, a word in Arabic meaning peace, uses both modern and traditional string and percussion instruments to delight audiences with an expansive mix of traditional and original Middle Eastern music. Salaam has performed throughout the United States, recorded seven albums, and been featured on National Public Radio’s All Things Considered. 

This concert will be broadcast live and viewable from all televisions on the Eskenazi Health downtown campus, including patient rooms, on channel 17. Learn more about the Marianne Tobias Music Program.
