Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center invites mental health professionals to attend our virtual educational speaker series. This webinar is scheduled for Thursday, June 12 from 4 - 5 p.m.

 

“Exploring the Behavioral and Brain Mechanisms of Binge Alcohol Drinking,” will feature Steve Boehm, Ph.D., professor of psychology with the Indiana University (IU) Indianapolis School of Science and executive director of the IU Institute for Human Health and Wellbeing. Boehm’s presentation will tell the story of his years’ long effort to build a mouse model of binge alcohol drinking and utilizing the model to understand how the brain changes as consequence of repeated bouts of binge alcohol drinking.

Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center’s monthly speaker series is free to attend. Eligible participants (LMHC, LMFT and LCSW) have the opportunity to earn CEUs by attending the presentation.
