Eskenazi Health Initiative for Empowerment and Economic Independence Receives Grant
Eskenazi Health Foundation received support from Lilly Endowment Inc. to help Eskenazi Health expand its pioneering internship program for students with physical disabilities. Lilly Endowment is providing funding for the Eskenazi Health Initiative for Empowerment and Economic Independence, a partnership between Eskenazi Health and Ball State University’s Bowen Center for Public Affairs.
Family of One of Indianapolis’ First African American Physicians, Dr. Harvey Middleton, to Attend Celebration
Dr. Middleton was also very active in the community. He was elected to the board of the Metropolitan YMCA in 1952 and served on various committees, including president of the Senate Avenue YMCA. He took a leading role in raising funds for the Fall Creek Parkway YMCA, which opened in 1959.

How Genetics Influences Treatments May Significantly Shrink Medical Costs and Hospitalizations
