TIME:

4 P.M. - 5 P.M.

Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center invites mental health professionals to attend our virtual educational speaker series. This webinar is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 8 from 4 - 5 p.m.

“Technology and Youth Mental Health” will feature Rene Elsbury, LCSW, YMHC, clinical supervisor with the Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center Child & Adolescent Outpatient Program and Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center Intensive Children's Outpatient Team.

Children are bombarded with technology from a very young age. This presentation will discuss the real impact tablets, phones, video games and streaming services have on children’s mental health and school performance. Elsbury will share the research on what mental health professionals can do to support change in screen times and support youth mental health at the same time.

Interested participants can register using the registration page. You will receive a Webex invite via email to access the event. Please note, if you have attended a Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center Speaker Series event in the past, you do not need to re-register. You will receive an invite to the upcoming session.
