The Marianne Tobias Music Program will feature Pavel & Direct Contact on Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 12 p.m. in the Eli Lilly and Company Foundation Concourse.
A native of the Dominican Republic, Pavel Polanco-Safadit is trained as a classical musician, but he is best known for performing Latin jazz, salsa and other genres associated with his Caribbean roots. After arriving in Indianapolis in 2004, Polanco-Safadit formed the group Direct Contact. Pavel & Direct Contact performs regularly throughout the Indianapolis area and abroad.
This concert will be broadcast live and viewable from all televisions on the Eskenazi Health downtown campus, including patient rooms, on channel 17. Learn more about the Marianne Tobias Music Program.
