Join in a group drumming experience, led by the Eskenazi Health Music Therapy team, in the Eli Lilly and Company Foundation Concourse at the Eskenazi Health downtown campus on Thursday, June 18 from 12 – 12:30 p.m.

This musical event is part of this year's Make Music Day. On June 21, musicians of all ages and skill levels will share their love of music with communities around the world through free music performances and events.

Make Music Day began in France in 1982 as the Fête de la Musique and is now celebrated on the same day in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries. Make Music Day made its American debut in New York in 2007. Since then, more than 100 cities throughout the country have established city-wide celebrations that provide free music-listening and music-making opportunities for communities.

This is the fourth year Make Music Day will be recognized in Indianapolis as a city-wide event. Eskenazi Health is excited to once again spearhead Make Music Indy on Sunday, June 21, in collaboration with new and existing partners and supporters of the Marianne Tobias Music Program at Eskenazi Health.
