Eskenazi Health Winter Market Returns Nov. 19

Nov. 13, 2019 – On Tuesday, Nov. 19, the Eskenazi Health Winter Market returns for a new season at a new location. From 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., the first floor in the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital, near the bust of Sidney and Lois Eskenazi, will transform into a market with several local vendors in an energetic and open atmosphere.

Customer favorites along with new vendors promise to make for another great season. Most items sold at the Eskenazi Health Winter Market are grown or made within 150 miles of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus and within the state of Indiana.

Opening day vendors include:
•             3 in 1 Restaurant – Tamales, pupusas
•             Aahaa Chai – Chai drink
•             Apricot Sun – Mediterranean dishes
•             D & S Kettle Corn – Kettle corn
•             Circle City Kombucha – Kombucha
•             Creative Wandering – Soaps, popcorn kernels
•             Gluten Free Creations – Gluten-free baked goods
•             JohnTom's Barbecue – Barbeque sauce

This upcoming season, which lasts through Feb. 25, will be the third year of the Eskenazi Health Winter Market. The market is part of the innovative Eskenazi Health Wellness program, which began in 2005 as a way to encourage employees and others to place wellness and health as a top priority.

While the market’s aim is to attract Eskenazi Health employees, all visitors and guests are encouraged to stop by and visit the farmers’ market. The Eskenazi Health Parking Garage is accessible for patrons and is located just west of the market on Dr. Harvey Middleton Way.
