TIME:

4 P.M. - 5 P.M.

Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center invites mental health professionals to attend our virtual educational speaker series. This webinar is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 10 from 4 - 5 p.m.

The presentation will be led by Phil Campbell, supervisor with Project POINT, and Deanna Jones, CAPRC II, peer recovery coach, discussing Project POINT and peer recovery services within the Michael & Susan Smith Emergency Department at Eskenazi Health.

Project POINT (Planned Outreach, Intervention, Naloxone and Treatment) is a collaboration between the Michael & Susan Smith Emergency Department, Indianapolis EMS and Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center, who are a key effort in helping to address the opioid epidemic. Project POINT includes a team of certified peer recovery coaches and a licensed social worker. The team provides wraparound services to patients who present with a substance use disorder with the goal of helping break down the barriers that may prevent someone from seeking a path to recovery by linking people to treatment for substance use.

Interested participants can register here to sign up or can text “CEU” to 317.597.8069 to RSVP. You will receive a Webex invite via email to access the event.

Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center’s monthly speaker series is free to attend. Eligible participants (LMHC, LMFT and LCSW) have the opportunity to earn CEUs by attending the presentation.
