Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center invites mental health professionals to attend our virtual educational speaker series. This webinar is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 10 from 4 - 5 p.m.

The presentation, “Motivational Interviewing – Exploring Core Values to Increase Motivation for Change,” will be led by Angie Price, LCSW, clinical program coordinator for Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center Addictions Services. Topics to be covered include learning how to effectively and collaboratively explore individual core values to raise discrepancies between values and behavior. Also, the webinar will teach a strength-based approach utilizing various motivational interviewing techniques that will equip mental health professionals to help clients envision a better future and harness their intrinsic motivation to make positive changes.

The training shared in this webinar is appropriate for mental health professionals at all levels that have basic knowledge and experience using motivational interviewing and for those who would like to learn more about how to increase motivation for change and help clients become unstuck. 

Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center’s monthly speaker series is free to attend and will be hosted virtually on Webex. Eligible participants (LMHC, LMFT and LCSW) have the opportunity to earn CEUs by attending the presentation.
