facebook Exercise of the Month: Seated Cat/Cow Yoga Poses

  1. Sit up straight on a chair with both feet on the floor.

  2. Put your hands on your knees or the tops of your thighs.

  3. While inhaling, arch your spine and roll your shoulders down and back. This is called a cow position.

  4. While exhaling, round out your spine and bring your chin to your chest. Your shoulders and head should come forward. This is called a cat position.

  5. Rotate between the cow position while inhaling and the cat position while exhaling for 
    five breaths
