  • Can I manage a patient’s account if I am his or her caregiver?
    Absolutely. Everyone can benefit from My Eskenazi Health, no matter their age. Once you have completed your own account registration, navigate to the Your Doctors tab and select Add a patient to this account from the left menu.
  • How do I sign up for My Eskenazi Health?
    It’s easy! Click here to request a My Eskenazi Health account. Your My Eskenazi Health account request will be reviewed to confirm you are an existing Eskenazi Health patient. When your request has been processed, you will receive an email notification that includes instructions on how to complete your My Eskenazi Health account registration online.
  • How is this service different from regular email?
    My Eskenazi Health, powered by RelayHealth, messages differ from regular email in that they transmit securely and confidentially. While My Eskenazi Health is available through the Web, it's far better tuned to the communication needs of health care than email, and it's far more secure. Regular email relies on multiple servers distributed across the Internet; My Eskenazi Health uses a single, centrally managed database for all doctor-patient communications. Unlike regular email, My Eskenazi Health messages are never stored anywhere but on the secure RelayHealth servers, and they cannot be read en route, deleted, copied or altered in any way.
  • How quickly will my doctor or his/her office respond to my email?

    Even though My Eskenazi Health allows you to send messages at any time of the day or night, your message is responded to during normal business hours for your health care provider's office. Your doctor or his/her office staff will provide a response according to the following timeframes.

  • How secure is RelayHealth?
    My Eskenazi Health, powered by RelayHealth, service uses a high level of security to protect the privacy and confidentiality of health care information transmitted through its messaging service. All information transmitted through RelayHealth is encrypted, which means the information is password protected, so only you, your physician and his/her staff can view your information. Make sure to log out after you are done using My Eskenazi Health.
  • What does it cost to use My Eskenazi Health?
    There is no charge for using My Eskenazi Health to communicate with your doctor and his/her staff or for maintaining a personal health record.
  • What is my medical record number?
    If you have had a prior appointment with an Eskenazi Health physician, you have been assigned a medical record number. This medical record number is required to sign up for a My Eskenazi Health account. Click here for tips on locating your medical record number.

    My Eskenazi Health is a secure, online program that Eskenazi Health patients can use to manage their health information from the privacy of their own home at any time, day or night. The My Eskenazi Health program is powered by an online service provided by RelayHealth.

  • What type of hardware and software is necessary to use My Eskenazi Health?
    My Eskenazi Health requires only a connection to the Internet and a web browser. You can run this service using either a PC, Mac or iPad and supported browsers include:

    My Eskenazi Health offers the convenience you cannot receive in a traditional doctor’s office setting. It offers an alternative to playing telephone tag with your health care provider's office. My Eskenazi Health offers everything from refill requests to secured messaging between you and your doctor. My Eskenazi Health is a tool you can utilize to stay on top of your health.
  • Will I have a My Eskenazi Health email address?
    No. Instead, you will check your messages by signing into My Eskenazi Health via the Eskenazi Health patient portal. When a message is delivered to your inbox, the service notifies you by your choice of fax or personal email that you have a waiting message.
