First concert will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 20 - Eskenazi Health

Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 20, the third round of the University of Indianapolis Community Music Service Fellowship (CMSF) concerts will debut at Eskenazi Health. University of Indianapolis faculty Dr. Elisabeth Hoegberg and Dr. Mitzi Westra will perform at noon at the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital.

Through the vision of Dr. Minju Choi, associate adjunct professor of piano at the University of Indianapolis and world-renowned pianist, and made possible by the Marianne Tobias Music Program at Eskenazi Health, CMSF provides opportunities for University of Indianapolis music students and faculty to uniquely contribute their talents by providing concerts at Eskenazi Health.

The performances offered through CMSF emphasize the repertoire of the performer’s particular discipline, while exploring the concert material that is readily accessible to audiences in a health care facility. The fellowship is available to all creative University of Indianapolis college-level and advanced pre-college-level students who are in good academic standing.
