Eskenazi Health patients can get free legal assistance with wills and advanced planning documents on Monday, June 18 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Lawyers from Faegre Baker Daniels and Eli Lilly and Company will be at Eskenazi Health to help with:
• Creating a will, which allows individuals to plan for their children’s future
• Appointing a financial/or health care power of attorney
• Creating a living will and other advance directives
Advance planning allows individuals to document their preferences for future care in the form of a legal document. It also gives the person the opportunity to choose someone to make medical and financial decisions if they become unable to do so. Assistance in preparing a last will and testament will also be available.
The clinic, which is presented by the Eskenazi Health Medical-Legal Partnership, Faegre Baker Daniels and Eli Lilly and Company, will take place in the Faegre Baker Daniels Conference Room, located on the first floor of the Sandra Eskenazi Outpatient Care Center.
